Introduction
An exhibition format by La Clandestina that explores the boundaries between art and everyday life.
At each gathering, guest artists work live on ordinary furniture and objects until they become unique, one-of-a-kind pieces, while the audience watches the process unfold. The gatherings combine exhibition, live painting and music.
The furniture being transformed comes from Studio Alis, interior designers and restorers based in Poblenou.
02 / The project
From everyday object to unique piece.
More than an exhibition, TRASTEA is a living laboratory: a space for experimentation where the energy of the process, the crossing of languages and the connection with the audience come to the fore. Visitors don't just contemplate the final result — they step into the artistic dialogue in real time and witness the material and symbolic transformation of each object.
In the April 2026 edition, the format opened up to street art, video mapping and music, turning the space into an immersive environment.
The project will culminate in a final exhibition bringing together the furniture transformed across the different editions.
