What is Territori Besòs
Territori Besòs is an initiative led by ZEIT and La Clandestina de Poblenou to build a cultural, artistic and community network in the neighbourhoods around the Besòs.
The project was born from a desire to give visibility to the creative processes, independent initiatives, local voices and cultural expressions that inhabit and transform the area.
A meeting point to connect artists, professionals, collectives, cultural spaces and local agents, share knowledge and spark new collaborations.
02 / The territory
A territory in transformation
The Besòs is a historically working-class, industrial and migrant territory, shaped by urban transformation, deindustrialisation and neighbourhood resistance movements.
Today it is home to numerous cultural, social and community projects that help revitalise its neighbourhoods, keeping its popular memory and collective spirit alive.
Territori Besòs also comes from a need: for the people and projects that share this area to get to know each other, meet and weave new networks.
03 / What we want to achieve
Connecting to transform
Connect
Facilitate encounters between artists, collectives, professionals, cultural spaces and local networks.
Make visible
Raise awareness of the creative initiatives, cultural processes and social and urban transformations happening in the area.
Inspire
Create spaces for dialogue, exchange and collaboration that strengthen the local creative community.
04 / How we do it
Gatherings that build networks
Territori Besòs unfolds through itinerant gatherings held in different spaces across the area.
Each gathering gives a voice to different cultural and creative initiatives through presentations, open conversations and informal networking.
The aim is to share experiences, discover nearby projects and foster connections between people who, although they work in the same area, don't always get the chance to meet.

The Social Hub Barcelona · Carrer de Cristóbal de Moura, 49
The second edition brought together projects from different disciplines that are born and grow in the Besòs area: sculpture, artist residencies and craft woodworking.
It also presented Proyecto Latente, a residency developed at La Clandestina de Poblenou that understands the Besòs not as a context but as active material. Around 80–90 people attended.
